Movement Snacks: How to build a stronger, more confident crow pose

Hey Reader,

When was the last time you tried crow pose? If you're unfamiliar, here's what crow pose looks like:

If you're not an arm balance enthusiast, maybe it's been awhile.

I like crow pose, but I can understand why it feels intimidating. The fear of falling is legit. No one really likes the idea of falling, but falling on your face? Hard pass, thanks.

But what if there were exercises you could do that would make crow pose feel less scary and more possible?

What if you could approach crow pose with a little more confidence and strength?

That leads me to my movement snack...

I'm teaching crow pose all month long in my online studio, MOVE with Naomi. We don't just do yoga in MOVE. I focus on building strength, something that is more successful when you're working with weights and resistance training.

There are 5 exercises I'm teaching all month long, in my live classes as well as in the shorter, pre-recorded classes.

I shared those exercises in this video (I shared it both on Instagram and YouTube).

I also created a longer video for my YouTube, showcasing the top 3 mistakes people tend to make in crow pose and what to do instead. It's less than 5 minutes long, so a quickie! Watch it here:

I hope these resources are helpful for you!

If you want to spend a little more time with crow pose, building strength to feel more confident and successful when you try crow, I'd love for you to join me in MOVE.

There are 3 different tiers in MOVE to better meet your needs.

MOVE15 is for those who have a little less time for movement and do well with a self-guided movement practice.

MOVE is for those who like to attend live classes and do well with more guidance.

MOVE Plus is for those who want more specialized support and do well with built in accountability.

I'd love to make you a special offer:

For anyone who signs up for MOVE15 or MOVE within the next week, I will create a personalized program for you with built-in accountability like you'd get every month in MOVE Plus. The program will last through November, so roughly 6 weeks of movement practices, based on your needs and goals and with whatever level of accountability you'd like.

If you have any questions about MOVE or what a personalized program would like like or how we'd create accountability, please respond to this email!

Thanks for being a part of my community this year. I am so grateful for you.

Warmly,

Naomi
