Today is your last chance to get 20% off my app, Strength in Midlife
|
Hey Reader, Today is the last day to take advantage of the summer sale for my app, Strength in Midlife. I never planned on creating an app. I hate doing pretty much everything on my phone. Even texting -- I'd rather write those on my computer using a full keyboard like I am to write this email. But I was offered the opportunity to build one, so I decided to make it the kind of movement app that I thought would be most useful. An app that prioritizes consistency, without pressure or shame, and utilizes shorter practices (8-20 minutes) to make consistency accessible. An app that makes strength training simpler without suggesting women need lighter weights or less intensity, even as we age. An app that doesn't require you to input your weight or set a weight loss goal. You can typically find some combination of those things, but not all 3 -- most apps usually have that last one. Simply put, I built this app to offer a space for women over 40 to start and sustain a daily movement practice that emphasizes the importance of strength training and without all of the diet culture nonsense as a distraction. You're not measuring anything other than how many reps you do and how heavy the weights are you're working with, but even then, that's mostly so you can track where you are and have a clear idea of how to proceed. I wanted to keep the focus on the value of daily movement as a habit for aging well and to prioritize strength training as a way to retain and even build strength as you get older. Most fitness apps aren't like this. My hope is that this makes strength training more accessible and daily movement more inviting. I want you to feel good about what you do with your body. If this sounds like what you want out of a movement practice, I would love for you to try out my app. You can purchase an annual or a quarterly subscription -- both are 20% off through midnight tonight (pacific time). I had a huge goal when I launched my app several months ago -- I was hoping 100 people would subscribe. I currently have 13. Now, I'd really love to get to 20 by midnight. I genuinely believe in the program I've built for this app and the practices I share. My hope is that it will make daily movement more accessible, strength more attainable, and aging feel more powerful. If it does sound like this app would support you, go check out Strength in Midlife -- A Daily Movement App for Aging Well. Even if it's not for you, it might benefit someone you know.
